♦This article is a stub, you can help us by expanding it!♦ Diplodocus (D.hallorum) is a large sauropod. It's the second sauropod to be added to the new Era of Terror. It's native to mid-western America during the late Jurassic period. It was one of the longest dinosaurs.

Diplodocus was also known to live along side the allosaurus. This creatures used their tail as an advantage to whip their predators that are trying to kill them. Most Carnivores (except rex) will NOT attack these creatures unless they are badly hungry.

After the restat, Diplodocus a nearly walking hamburgers. They are highly vunerable to bleed and just raw damage.

Strategies and Countering[]

Diplodocus is quite strong in-game. It pairs trample damage, it's rear stomp attack and it's tail whip together, forcing animals to try and get at the neck of the animal.

Counter with: Tyrannosaurus, Spinosaurus

What to do[]

  1. Use Tyrannosaurus and try to get to the neck of the animal without getting trampled
  2. Use another Diplodocus and try and stomp and whip it to death.
  3. Use a pack of carnivores and go for the neck. Mainly medium carnivores such as allosaurus.

What NOT to do[]

  1. Use any other dinosaurs.
  2. Run under the legs or near the tail. Tail takes less regen time than the stomp.
  3. Charge at it without any though.

Trivia[]

  • Diplodocus means "double beam", named from it's double beamed chevron bones.
  • Diplodocus has an arid skin prepared for the future, which will be gray.
  • Diplodocus was made to be released along with Allosaurus.
  • According to the developers, 4 skilled Allosaurus will be able to take down an adult Diplodocus.

The sub-adult Diplodocus is fairly strong, it deals a good amount of damage, being able to stand up against a sub-adult Spinosaurus. However, it can be injured greatly by a sub-adult rex if said rex is experienced and knows what to do, although, a large portion of sub-adult rexes will not target you due to trample damage.

As a juvenile Diplodocus you can be easily targeted by weaker carnivores such as a juvenile Ceratosaurus and the apex predators especially. A juvenile Diplodocus can not stomp unlike its sub-adult and adult counterparts, as such, anything can easily kill you by targeting the neck and hitting and running. You are slow as well so your main strategy should be to hide in dark and dense areas.
